THE LABEL
Katy Britton began her career in the Bridal design industry over 20 years ago as assistant to a much loved bridal wear designer. She trained in the art of corsetry, hand embellishment, construction, draping and all the skills needed for bridal couture.

She went on to gain a BA Honors in Fashion Design in Manchester, then in 2006, her first bridal label - Mariée, was born. Having decided to change the course of the business in 2021, Mariée became Katy Britton Bride.

The Katy Britton bride doesn’t fit into any one category, but she does appreciate the unrivalled beauty of a gown that is unique to her and has a strong focus on quality fabric and sustainability.

ETHICS + SUSTAINABILITY
Sustainable and ethical practices are a priority for the Katie Britton team. All gowns are designed and constructed in the UK, their silks are GOTS certified, and they make everything to order. The collection is designed to be slow, the pieces can carry over from season to season and they offer brides a customisation service so that brides have the option to wear their dress again.
