ETHICS + SUSTAINABILITY
Working with their trusted manufacturers, they are constantly evolving the collection to include more environmentally friendly fabrics. By considering the materials that they use and what resources go in to creating them Rewritten can have a positive impact on the textile industry. Working with digital patterns means they can lay plans digitally and flex these to get the best fabric consumption, leading to less cloth wastage.

Eco-conscious fabrics currently used in their collections include BAMBOO satin, a biodegradable flowing satin made from bamboo - a plant that grows much faster than other crops and requires less water.

They also use work with a beautiful drapey satin made from recycled polyester and dyed using non-toxic chemicals, giving a second life to a material that’s not biodegradable and would otherwise end up in landfill or the ocean.
